Replacing the Keyboard - Remote

How to replace and re-synchronize the keyboard remote on your Lü 1st gen, 2nd gen, Möbil and Möve

Your keyboard remote can be replaced if it no longer works or has been damaged beyond use.

To order a new keyboard remote, please visit our store.

After receiving the new remote, open the back panel to remove the USB receiver.

This receiver needs to be plugged into the computer for the keyboard remote to work properly.

  1. Replace the old USB receiver with the one included with the new keyboard remote (back panel).

  2. Using a ladder, lift, or scaffold, access the heart module above the projection screen. The USB receiver attaches to the end of the USB cable hanging below the heart. Keep the cable hanging freely below the heart for optimal signal reception, tucking the receiver inside the casing weakens the signal (see image above).

  3. Once connected, the new remote should work within seconds if the battery is fully charged. If the orange light flashes, see the 'Re-synchronization' section below.

Möbil

Under the main module of your mobile unit, you should see the USB receiver for the keyboard remote. Depending on your unit model, the receiver may be located in one of two places. Disconnect the old receiver and plug in the one provided with the new remote. The remote should begin working within a few seconds if the battery is fully charged. If the orange light on the remote flashes, refer to the 'Re-synchronization' section below.

Some Möbil units include a USB extension cable under the main module to improve signal reception. We recommend not removing this cable.

Lü 1st generation

Using a ladder, lift, or scaffold, access the sound and light module. The receiver is visible beneath the light module, so there's no need to open it. Through the mesh or openings of one of the lights, you should see the USB receiver connected to an extension cable. Unplug the old receiver from the end of the cable and connect the one provided with the new keyboard remote. The new remote should start working within a few seconds if the battery is fully charged. If the orange light flashes, refer to the 'Re-synchronization' section below.
